Ed Sheeran is another extremely successful and well known artist. He has had 3 UK number 1 albums and 3 number 1 singles. Ed Sheeran is well known enough to have previously been awarded an MBE by the Queen earlier this year (2017).
FASHION AND STYLE
Ed Sheeran has quite a unique style when on the subject of his clothing. Usually, artists dress quite smart, however, Ed dresses very casual and wears clothes which normal people would wear. He recieves great recognition and positive feelings from the public, as he does not compare with other artists, despite his wealth and fame. This suggests that he has not let his fame change the way he acts or dresses, as he still dresses like he did before he was famous. This is very popular within the public, as it compares a lot with other artists who have extremely changed the way they are because of fame.
ALBUMS
Ed Sheeran's albums are quite unique compared to others. In all of his albums, Ed follows a trademake of his, having a maths symbol as the name of his albums. These are Plus, Times and Divide. Due to having his own trademark, it allows audiences to recognise an album straight away as being his, without seeing the name of the artist or what is on it. This continuation of maths symbols as his album-names, he has said to carry on for his next album and more. This again, shows that perhaps this is his way to show that he would not let fame affect hpw he acts as a person. He plans to stay the same throughout his career.
LOGO
Ed's own logo is of a pawprint and as he revealed in an interview, this is because it was the image of his first album when he was a child. It is shown on his guitar, websites, albums and more, audiences are able to recognise it straigjt away, leading to Ed and increasing his popularity. Also, as it is a very innocent logo, it shows that his music appeals to all ages, either young or old, which again increases his popularity.
