Adele
Adele was and is now an extremely successful artist. Throughout her career, she has had 3 of her albums as UK number 1s and also 2 of her singles. From looking at just her albums, I get the impression that she wants to be seen as a strong and independent woman. This is due to herself being the only one in all of her albums so far. This suggests that she does not need anyone else, and it is just her needed to produce her songs and albums. I also get this impression from her being well-kknown by just her first name 'Adele'. Most singers are known by their full names, for example, 'Ed Sheeran', whereas this is not the case for this artist. This implies that she is extremely important as there would not be another female artist as successful and well-known called 'Adele' for her to need to add her second name.
Often, all of Adele's album names are numbers, which show what age she was when she made it. This is effective, as it allows viewers to see differences in her albums as she grows older. It is also a unique feature, which only Adele is known to have done. This enables her to have her own trademark which no one else has. This again shows how successful and well known Adele is as she can have her own trademark which people clearly notice who it belongs too.
From looking at the image on all of her albums, I get the impression that she makes slow songs, possibly about love. I see this due to the plain emotions on her face and the black and white effects, suggesting nor love or hate. This impression is correct, as almost all of her songs are slow and also about love. Normally, about having her heart broken. All of this also suggests that Adele is quite a quiet person and cares about love and having someone there. However, when seeing her on TV, this is very different. She is always happy and independent, perhaps showing a positive role model for younger people, as they do not need someone, but can however feel certain emotions like she appears to in her songs.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Unlike other artists, Adele uses her social media to thank her fans and broadcast charities. Normally, artists use their social media to show off their songs and tell fans what they are up to in a day. This contrast between them and Adele allows her to gain positive recognition, as she clearly uses her fame for a good cause; to raise money for those who need it. On Instagram, she does not follow anyone, but has almost 30million followers. Just from her social media, people are able to see how popular of an artist she is, as she does not need to follow anyone to gain recognition on social media .
